While some people struggle to control power, others desire it and abuse it. In a society where power is all around, we live. A person’s ability to change their behavior to get what they want. It is a great responsibility to have this level of political power. This includes being able influence others, as well as inspiring them to take the right decisions for the benefit of the entire population. Sometimes people misuse their powers or violate existing rules. This is injustice within the system.

It has been so pervasive in America for so long that political injustice is a constant. The unfairness shown towards blacks as well Latinos or people of minority dissent is something many people don’t see. This is because people of colour are frequently called thugs/drug dealers, gangsters/rapists in the media and on social media. These are not the first times that Latinos or blacks have been accused in this century. It has been happening ever since slavery. What is clear is that people are more open to video and camera phones, which instantly record the history of decades. It’s all in our face. It is now all around us. The victim refused to put his hands up as the police claimed. 2016 was the second consecutive year of back-to back black murders. Another video showing the murder of Philanda Capile in Minnesota came to light while his fiancée was videotaping the incident. These videos and images show Castile’s bleeding from gunshot wounds. Castile had been shot three times by an officer due to a malfunctioning taillight. What makes a Black man so fearsome in the eyesof a White man? America has been a vicious and evil nation since its beginnings with the English settlers. They claimed the land for Native Americans, then went to Africa to degrade the African’s humanity and take him from Africa. What power do these Americans have?

Bryan Stevenson has written a book called “Just Mercy” in which he explains his childhood in Alabama. His grandmother was a slave to Virginia. Stevenson was actually arrested by the police officer and realized the injustice. He speaks out about how black children, black women, black men and poor people were treated. Our society is dominated by injustice against blacks and other minorities. Stevenson explained that the reason blacks were treated in this manner was their skin colour. This is a terrible result and can cause further problems like segregation or division between the different curtain races. This is a fair and righteous treatment. If slavery was abolished, then discrimination should be eliminated in the United States.
