Many questions are asked about Arabian Peninsula. There are many questions about the Arabian peninsula. These questions are now answered.

The Arabian Peninsula occupies a large part of Middle-East Asia. Bahrain, Kuwait Oman Qatar Saudi Arabia United Arab Emirates Yemen, United Arab Emirates. The Peninsula is bordered by the Persian Gulf in the northeast, Strait of Hormuz, Gulf of Oman, Gulf of Aden, Bab-El Mandeb, Southwest, and Red Sea, West. The peninsula also has a higher mountainous terrain in the south while the desert is more prevalent towards the northern part. The Arabian Desert is also Asia’s largest desert. It can be divided into three main parts. An Nafud is the farthest north and is considered an era, or a large sand sheet. An Nafud represents the most northern part and is called a era. Ad Dahna stretches the lengthiest and is central. Rub’al Khali – the world’s largest sand dune – stretches to Saudi Arabia and Yemen as well as Oman and United Arab Emirates. The Sarawat Mountain Range is the largest on the Peninsula, stretching from Jordan and Saudi Arabia’s border to the Gulf of Aden. The Hejaz Mountain Range runs from north to south along the Red Sea coast. The Asir Mountain Range is the other major mountain range in the Arabian Peninsula. The Najd is also a large plateau in the middle of Arabian Peninsula. The plateau extends south, southwest to northeast and has elevations between 760-1525m. Its eastern half is extremely fertile. Like, Mesopotamia fertile. The peninsula is a geographically diverse area, with many positive features that contribute to the environment.

We then researched the history and production of oil in the Arabian Peninsula. Ibn Saud began to work with Major Frank Holmes, a New Zealander in 1922. Rumors about oil seeps were spread during World War 1. In 1923, however, the king granted Holmes a permit to search for oil within Saudi Arabia. Together, Holmes & Saud set up a team of travelers to go searching for the treasure. The two-year search yielded only a small amount of oil. About seven years after that, SOCAL CASOC Texas Oil Company and other companies created CALTEX a business empire in Arabia to look for large amounts oil. CALTEX eventually struck oil at a promising “Dammam No.7” site in March 1938. The Arabian American Oil Company agreed in 1943 to provide large quantities of gasoline and free kerosene for the Arab governments. The government of Saudi Arabia and its citizens were enraged by this. The Yom Kippur War between Egypt/Syria/Israel (October 6, 1982 – October 25, 1982) was an oil conflict in the peninsula. Israel won the battle. After the conflict, the Middle East’s oil price increased dramatically. This made the area extremely wealthy. ARAMCO suffered a great deal of loss in 1982. It lost land, businesses, and many other important factors. ARAMCO, which was owned by Saudi Arabia for six years, became Saudi Aramco. The high oil production in the Peninsula made it necessary to build pipelines. The Trans-Arabian Pipeline Company, or Tapline, built its pipeline. The pipeline was a great improvement in terms of efficiency and oil transportation, but it also had some shortlines. Taxes and reconstruction issues plagued the pipeline for many years. The pipeline eventually closed down in 1983. Due to the oil, there are environmental concerns all over the world. Oil spills have occurred in the oceans over the years. Water pollution caused many marine creatures to suffer or die. Some oil spills have also led to fires on the ground, which ultimately destroyed forests, grasslands, and other natural habitats. Oil is used in construction, and this destroys vegetation. It also causes erosion. The air pollution caused by oil wells has also contributed to climate changes. The construction of oil wells and the noise they produce also disturb wildlife and their migration patterns. The oil industry is responsible for a lot of environmental damage.

Visitors to Saudi Arabia must adhere to a few rules. You are forbidden to criticize Islam, the royals or any other religious group. You will be severely punished if you criticize the royal family or Islam. Drugs are also not tolerated. Drug traffickers or drug offenders will be executed. You cannot photograph people who live there without their consent, nor can you photograph holy sites, government buildings, military or government institutions. Expats are penalized for importing, manufacturing, consuming or possessing pork, alcohol and drugs. One more warning to outsiders is that they should avoid public displays, like holding hands. Last rule I’ll mention is that homosexuality and prostitution are prohibited. If you violate this law, the punishment is death. Saudi Arabia’s laws are very strict, but there are still many positives.

What women wear what men wear

Muslims are viewed differently around the globe. During my study, I discovered that 72% Hungary, 69% Italy, 66% Poland, 60% Greece, 50% Spain and 35% Netherlands view Muslims negatively. It’s possible that you noticed the absence of America in these studies. America’s perception of Muslims has changed since 9/11. When 9/11 happened, America was targeting all Muslims or Arabs, not just terrorists. Although stereotypes are less prevalent, there is still a stigma attached to Muslims. Not all Americans see Muslims in the same way. Another opinion is that Muslims should be treated the same, even if only certain groups of Muslims have done harm. Many Muslims have different views, but not all of them are good. We hope that you now have a better understanding of the Arabian Peninsula.
