Zoos, aquariums and circuses have poor treatment of animals and they are often starved, starved, and otherwise ill-treated. Owners force animals to do pointless acts and performs and they almost always take away their normal behaviour. The abuse they receive in captivity places often causes animals to lose their ability to live the full life expectancy. Because their behavior is not natural, they are given drugs. They are not meant to be kept in exhibits, tanks or cages. People shouldn’t visit circuses, aquariums, and zoos. Dolphins and wild orcas swim long distances daily. When they are in captivity, however, they can only swim in small circles (Aquariums & Marine Parks). Echolocation allows them to communicate and move together by using echolocation. The vibrations of their calls bounce off glass in a restricted area and cause sea animals to become insane. A small tank or pool can cause mental and physical problems for the animals. In the hope of freeing themselves from the bars that contain them, some orcas may break their teeth. This can lead to serious health problems and even death. If these problems are not addressed, they can cause sickness and death. Orcas can live hundreds upon years but are only able live a few days due to the confinements, synthetic food and punishments. Animals are subject to severe trauma, including gruesome escape attempts, fearful punishments and cramped spaces. The animal’s dorsal fin is responsible for stabilization and is now flopped over. This can happen due to dehydration and lack of exercise. It can also be very painful for whales. Swimming may be another reason for collapse. Killer whales can swim great distances and are always moving. The pressure of the ocean keeps the fins upright and healthy by providing pressure. Orca swimming at the surface can cause a collapse of the dorsal fins. The whale cannot swim or dive far enough, so the fin is not supported by water pressure. The condition of immobility can lead to death for the fish.

Smith 1 – Zoo animals are deprived of their natural life and are often kept in captivity (Smith 1). Because they are limited in their freedom, zoo animals can become isolated and bored. Natural walkers and ramblers can only move about ten miles each day. Zoo animals cannot do that. Zoochosis is a condition where animals live in enclosed spaces. Zoochotic Behavior refers to animals’ excessive grooming and excessive pacing. This can sometimes be treated with medication and mood-altering drugs so that the animals are ready for public viewing. This is an abuse. These drugs can be fatal to the animal or cause serious harm. Escape attempts can also lead to death for the animals. They are often bored and unable to be free so they attempt to escape the metal bars. They usually get hurt or die.

The unnatural landscape and weather can also make it difficult for animals to thrive. Smith 1: The small space and confinement of the animals can cause arthritis, diabetes, fractures and tuberculosis. Incurable diseases that animals contract can slowly degrade an animal’s health. Animals don’t just have to deal with the physical issues that they are exposed to, but also have to deal with mental issues. The people who pay for an animal’s observation for a limited time are happy to make the animals suffer.

Circuses offer family-friendly entertainment and travel around the globe to perform. Although the circus is entertaining, it can be very cruel and unjust. 96% of circus animals live in chains and cages their entire lives. The circus allows the animals to be freed from their cages and chains occasionally, but they will still face severe punishment for natural behavior. The animals also have to be able to sleep and eat. They are kept in tiny containers, which don’t have temperature control. Also, they move constantly. The animals are often denied water and food while they travel. Most animals suffer from motion sickness or starvation while traveling to new locations.

Many circus tricks are dangerous and painful for animals to perform. Tigers, for instance, fear fire. They are nevertheless forced to leap over rings or jump through hoops. Training animals will use pain and food deprivation to help them learn these tricks. Some of these methods include whipping, poke and sometimes an electric prod. (Enjoy the Circus?). These acts are performed by animals out of fear and fear of injury or pain. For cooperation purposes, performances may be drug-induced. Animals shouldn’t be afraid of people or starved.

You should avoid visiting zoos, aquariums, or circuses. They are cruel and inhumanely treated. The animals are not only kept in a cage and made to feel like they were wild animals, but they also get drugged or punished for their natural behaviors. This causes conflict between death and disease, and it directly affects each animal as well as the species. If animals are kept in tiny, suffocating boxes, tanks, or cages, their mental and physical health can decline. The wild is where animals belong. They can roam free and be themselves, and they will live a happy life without the need to use artificial landscapes or metal bars.
